Museums and Parks

The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is best known as the home of the world's largest wooden flying boat, the "Spruce Goose," the SR-71 "Blackbird," the Titan II SLV Missile and the P-38 "Lightning." In addition, there are more than 200 historic aircraft, spacecraft and exhibits on display, along with Oregon's largest IMAX® 3D theater. The City Park, with a tennis court and cool shady paths is accessible from the west end of 3rd Street and Joe Dancer Park, on the east end of Third Street offers a grassy respite of baseball and soccer fields, ideal for a morning run or an afternoon promenade. Miller Woods is located 3 miles west of McMinnville and available for public hiking and activities.
