The Estate

A’ Tuscan Estate Bed & Breakfast was once known as The Williams House. Dr. Williams had it built in 1928 for himself, his wife and two young daughters. He practiced medicine for many years in McMinnville, seeing patients in his home office and often accepting chickens, pigs and produce for payment during the Depression years. Dr. Williams also maintained an office on Third Street.

The exterior of A’ Tuscan Estate Bed & Breakfast, landscaped to enhance the architectural beauty of the home, features a long covered porch facing south, where guests enter, and set with comfortable tables and chairs to enjoy a morning coffee or an afternoon cheese tray and wine.

Our McMinnville Bed and Breakfast is a great place to relax and savor the flowers and plants; watch the passersby, or simply take a bit of time with your traveling companions. A magnificent copper beech tree presides over the front lawn, offering shade and a visual treat changing with the seasons. The north lawn is a grassy delight, extending along the rear of the house and leading to the Carriage House with a charming patio.

During the summer roses flood our McMinnville Bed & Breakfast yards.

Exterior Slide 2023

Inside A’ Tuscan Estate, you will find a lovingly maintained home, complete with the original Honduras Mahogany woodwork, oak hardwood floors, gracefully curving banisters and elegant sliding pocket doors that create an intimate setting in the formal dining room and living room. The property has been furnished with an Old World flair, decorated with lovely antiques and artwork.

Guests are welcome to make themselves at home throughout the house. The living room has plush seating that invites you to sink in for conversation or a chessboard awaits those with more challenging aspirations. The dining room is decorated with a Provencal flourish; bright colors beckon the guests to individual breakfast tables.

A peek in the kitchen of the main house reveals a culinary kingdom; stainless steel complements the granite countertops while tempting aromas will entice your morning taste buds. Freshly baked bread and pastries, Caprese baked eggs and lovely light quiches are but a few of the many culinary delights that may emerge from the kitchen any given morning.

Guests staying in the Vacation Cottage units are also welcome in all common guest areas of the main house. The Vacation Cottage has an impressive Copper Beech tree in front of the house and a cozy porch with cushioned wicker chairs and settee at the entrance. Behind the Vacation Cottage you find an additional patio with herbs and flowers during our warmer months. Mimosa trees are one of the first signs of spring, followed by a parade of daffodils, roses, and other flowering plants. The tables and chairs on the patio and a nice grassy area provide an area in which to relax.
